Coping with CHF

Good morning everyone. I’d like to ask a question if I may. How do you all cope with the fact that if you do something in the house or just walking to get the mail if you have a little shortness of breath how do you cope with the fear that it might be another hot problem?

  1. I am also curious what others in the community have to say regarding your inquiry. Great question. John. heart-failure.net community moderator

    1. Do want you can and don't overdo.

      1. Great advice.

    2. I have been having a lot of chest pressure ,I exercised alot ,I have Sarcoidois also ,COPD and chfmy chest is real senistive now,it hurts when I breathe!!

      1. Coping is very subjective. I am so grateful that, with being treated with medication for CHF and other disease processes that effect each other, I am feeling a little better. That gives me hope, and I am just grateful I can now walk 6 minutes without having to stop and rest! I celebrate every small accomplishment, like going to a band concert with my granddaughter. I celebrate being able to cook with a stool to sit on periodically. This is how I cope, I celebrate every moment of movement and time with a friend or family. I pray you find what brings your heart to celebrate! Best wishes!
