UTI that didn’t feel like a typical UTI

I had symptoms that felt like a UTI, but tests weren’t showing the usual patterns. It was frustrating because the discomfort was real, but the treatment wasn’t straightforward.

Later learned that some infections don’t fall into the typical categories and may involve bacteria that aren’t always targeted by first-line meds. That’s when a doctor considered switching the approach.

I was prescribed Doxycin 100mg, and it seemed to address what the earlier treatments missed.

Has anyone else dealt with infections that don’t show up clearly in reports but still need a different antibiotic approach?
