Heart Failure

I was very active for so many years and even ran several marathons. I was training for an Ironman event in 2019 when I suffered a heart attack after a bike workout. At first, I didn't know what it was until I felt numbness in my left arm. I ended up in the ER and had an angiogram the next day but couldn't fix the blockages. The next day, I was having bypass surgery on six arteries. Me being active saved my life. I inherit the disease from my mom and I didn't even realize it. I'm okay now and actively doing what I like to do, even at short distances.
