   <p>Thank you for sharing. I honestly never had cardiac rehab for the first three major open heart surgeries. However, I needed to have cardiac rehab post my heart transplant. I’m definitely thankful that I my insurance paid for my cardiac rehab even though it was short lived because I ended up back in the hospital due to complications from the transplant. The nurses, occupational, speech, and physical therapists were an excellent support and resource for me. I’m glad that you had a good experience with cardiac rehab. Leslie (Community Moderator)</p>

   <p>I easy all set to start cardiac rehab until I was told my co pay was _$60 each visit. I cannot afford this. So twice a week $120 times , 4 weeks a month<br/> That&#39;s 480 a month plus co pays for all office visits for Dr and d specialists. And the medication cost. I&#39;m going to start by <a href='http://walking.at' target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer ugc'>walking.at</a> least 20 minutes.</p>

Walking and climbing stairs are excellent ways to maintain body strength and stability. Please check with your doctor before walking 20 minutes because I wouldn’t want there to be any further health risks. Leslie (Community Moderator)</p>
