Ejection Fraction Increase From 23 to 40

My heart failure crept up on me really fast! I got pneumonia and got out of breath really easy and they diagnosed me with HF. My ejection fraction was 23 in the hospital and I had to wear a life vest home! This was in February, my number went up to 40 in May so with medicine (Entresto is amazing)! It was highly recommended by my family doctor and cardiologist to try and lower my sodium, not going to lie that’s the hardest for me! Trying to walk and mild exercise it’s been harder because of the virus and isolation but I’m trying. I feel better and my goal is to get that number up to 55 or higher! Hang in there and do exactly what your cardiologist tells you!!
