My CHF

My name is Stephen, and I'm 56 years old. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure 18 months ago. My ejection fraction rate was 30%. I quit drinking and smoking cigarettes while in the hospital. After taking my medication and staying sober my EFR is now is almost 40%.

I continue to work hard although the disease and/or medications make me tired. I haven't changed my bad eating habits much due to the fact that I live alone and can't really cook well. I have stopped eating canned meals, boxed meals, and 80% of fast food spots. I take four medications for my heart and they seem to be working.

Keep fighting people. It can be halted and even reversed! I don't plan on leaving this world anytime soon! Too much fence to install!!! Thanks for your time, and I wish you all the best!!!!! Keep fighting!!
