Shock

In 2021, I developed blister-like lumps on the bottom half of both legs. As this was during the lockdown, I had to see the practice nurses. Then, two of these blisters burst and leaked very badly and profusely, I had no idea what was happening to me.

We moved house, and two weeks later I was still leaking and also having difficulty breathing. My toenails were bluish. One of the GPs came to the house, took one look at me, and the next thing I know I am being rushed into the hospital where the consultant told me it was heart failure.

Since then I have been in the hospital twice more and am visited by the local heart failure team.
