My Cardiomyopathy

I have had COPD since 2006. When I was diagnosed I gave up smoking, which I had been doing for more than thirty years. In 2014 I was sent for a heart scan by my pulmonologist as he was concerned about my shortness of breath. That's when I was diagnosed with heart failure (dilated cardiomyopathy).

I am under the care of a heart nurse at the hospital and a cardiologist. I find that I'm very tired and breathless most of the time and not sure what the next treatments will be. My chest appointment was canceled on the day I was due for a telephone appointment! I take nebulized drugs and lots of meds. I'm 65 but feel older lol.
