Plan to LIVE One Day at a Time...

Hello Everyone,

I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF) in 2005, with the left bundle branch blocked and an EF of about 35%. From the very beginning, my cardiologist informed me that he would help me strengthen my heart. Those words meant the world to me and helped me to stay optimistic despite the general prognosis for CHF patients. Today, 16 years later, with much prayer, exercise, supplements, and organic ACV health drinks 3 times a day (I try to eat healthily), I feel wonderful most days. I am also thankful for the not-so-wonderful days.

Advice for those with CHF

My advice to anyone living with CHF, in addition to following doctor's orders, is to make plans to LIVE one day at a time. I also meditate on these two Biblical passages day and night: Psalm 91:16 "With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation." and Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God Bless You. -GM
