Hi. I see you recently joined our community, yesterday around 10:30 p.m to be precise. I would like to welcome you to our community. Sorry that you have had to spend 35 hours of your time in Las Vegas in the ER. As you have experienced, there are some medications that ER or urgent care physicians are not allowed to dispense or prescribe for home use. Although, I do believe you are able to get nitroglycerin for home use if this is what your primary care physician or cardiologist has prescribed for you. This may be something worth talking to your physician about, perhaps by phone. If your physician agrees that this is something you would benefit from, I am sure that he or she could have the prescription sent to a pharmacy near where you are in Las Vegas. Or, another option, if you already have a prescription at a pharmacy near your home, I am sure this pharmacy can transfer that prescription to a pharmacy near you. Is this something that you would be willing to try? John. heart-failure.net community moderator.
