BODY WEEKNESS

How do you get it to STOP or can you ?? !! Body weekness

  1. Hi. I see you just joined our community about 3 hours ago. Glad to hear that you are already engaging in conversation here in the forums. Is body weakness something that you are experiencing because of your heart failure. Is there anything further than you can share with the community that can help us to provide you with a good response here. How are you feeling today? John. heart-failure.net community moderator.

    1. CommunityMemberdb235e Sorry to hear you are experiencing body weakness. I hope that you have notified your doctor about your signs and symptoms you may be having so that they are aware of this in case something else happens. I’m uncertain of what you might be experiencing because your response was limited. Thank you for sharing. And hope you were able to find some results from your doctor. Leslie (Community Moderator)

      1. I've been dealing with fatigue and body weakness since being diagnosed with HF in January. For me, it comes and goes, so I have good days and bad days. I've noticed that my body weakness seems to be related to the amount of sleep I get. If I don't get enough sleep (like when I was in hospital), I experience more body weakness. But if I get enough sleep (like after being discharged from hospital), I experience less body weakness. As a matter of fact, as someone who has recently been diagnosed with HF, I seem to need more sleep now than I used to need. I've learned to accept that fact. I'm learning to listen to my body and respond in positive ways. I hope your doctor can find ways to encourage and help you with the body weakness.

        1. Hi. Again!. I am sure will appreciate hearing from you. Links between heart failure and fatigue is a topic that has been discussed many times in the forums here and by our contributors, as you can see by this link: (https://heart-failure.net/search?s=fatigue). It sounds like you in tune with what your body needs now that you have your diagnosis of heart failure. This may be another topic to add to your list to bring up with your cardiologist. Perhaps he or she will have ideas to help you in this regard too. All the best. John. heart-failure.net community moderator.

      2. It is essential to determine the underlying cause of the weakness to address it effectively. Some possible causes include lack of sleep, poor nutrition, sedentary lifestyle, or underlying medical conditions. Consultation with a healthcare professional can help identify the cause and develop an appropriate treatment plan to alleviate the weakness.
