Hi. I use a nebulizer for asthma. It works great for helping me breathe easier. I also have inhalers. Do you also have asthma or COPD that you use your nebulizers and inhalers for? Also, the goal of treatment regimens for heart failure, COPD, and asthma is to help you breathe easy on most days. However, each of these diseases may cause flare-ups where we feel shortness of breath at times. Although, depending on the cause, your doctor should help you develop a plan for what to do when you experience symptoms. Does this answer your question? John. heart-failure.net community moderator.
