Hi I've resentally had a echocardiogram due to me nearly going in to heart failure how long does it take to receive the results they said they have to be sent to the doctor whom ordered them then they have to be sent to my own gp

Great question. I do believe that most healthcare facilities performing echoes try to get the test reviewed by a cardiologist within a day, and your doctor should get the results soon thereafter. So, I would think it shouldn't take more than 1-3 days to get your results. I see it has been six days since you posted. Were you able to get your results from your doctor yet? Hi no I haven't heard anything yet I don't know what's taking them so long unless my scan was ok ? Would they still let you know regardless?
