ef low
I first had low e f about 15 years ago. it was 20/25.Ihad open heart surgery and it came back up 40/45. I had a pacemaker put in 9 years ago. About a month ago afib occured and my ef is back to 20/25. The ef has been slowly going down but tge afib took it down faxt, up until then everything was normal. Now im on oxygen 24/7.I alwys new what to do up until the afib sharpened, now i am at a t otal loss of what to do.
Thank you for sharing, and I am so sorry that you are in a tough spot. What does your cardiac team say about your low EF? At what point to you qualify for advanced therapies? How is it being on oxygen 24/7? Does your cardiac team have a mental health professional that you can talk to or connect you with other patients with a low EF? How are you doing today?
