    1. Thanks for chiming in! Does no mean that you have not participated in cardiac rehab? Morgan (heart-failure.net Moderator)

  2. Yes. I would recommend cardiac rehab to everyone. They monitor your blood pressure, oxygen levels and heart rate. In fact they offer exercise twice a week after rehab is done. I still go the two days offered.

    1. Thank you for sharing your positive testimony about cardiac rehab. Glad to hear it has worked so well for you. Wishing you all the best. John. community moderator.

  3. No

    1. Thanks for participating! Does no mean that you have not participated in cardiac rehab? Did you doctor prescribe it? Morgan (heart-failure.net Moderator)

  4. I asked my cardiologist about doing cardiac rehab, and he said my insurance wouldn't pay for it now. I went after my heart attack a few years ago. The most beneficial in my mind was the modified step machine. You sit and move your arms and step along gradually. I would like it again now, but it's expensive.

    1. Thank you for chiming in. Have you heard of phase 3 cardiac rehab? Perhaps that is something that would work for you, and the exercise folks can think of modified exercises for you if that is what is best? That is less expensive, but also less supervised, then phase 1 and 2. Here is an article I wrote about participating in Phase 3 - https://heart-failure.net/living/phase-3-cardiac-rehab. I hope this helps! Morgan (heart-failure.net Moderator)
