By pass and later a bypass the bypass now I have CHF congested heart failure so I am on repatha for cholesterol and heart pills and shots of trulicity for diabetes and lately shots for b12 for energy yes I had a bad heart attack. Now in Dec I'm going for a defibrillator. So otherwise the good point I'm alive and my lungs are clear and my feet are not swollen.im 75years old.
Thanks for sharing with us. I know that isn't always easy. I haven't experienced a heart attack; however, I did survive a cardiac arrest event. One of my biggest hurdles was the anxiety and PTSD that ensued. Currently, I'm experiencing the abdomen swelling you mentioned. Does it ever affect your breathing, laying flat; or just comfort in general? I've had a defibrillator for 14 years. The thought of having one was scary for me at first. Eventually, I accepted that it was a necessary back up plan. How do you feel about it?
