Help Needed

Hi everyone, I hope you're all well.

I'm terribly sorry to post this here if it isn't the right place to post it.

I'm looking for help and I'm not sure where else to post it.

Someone I love has told me they suffer from heart failure. They're doctor has told them about the standard life expectancy and that a heart transplant may be needed.

I'm broken and upset and I don't really know what to say or how to support.

Is there any advice any of you can give on this? Or how to extend life expectancy and/or quality of life?

Any information, links or resources would be a massive help.

Again, I'm so sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. I don't really know where else to go.
