Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathty?

Is there anyone on here with this? I am not sure if I have it or not. A recent echocardiogram test I took showed a 77% Ejection Fraction. Normal EF is 55-70%. I have another echo planned for mid-January. Its genetic and also caused by stress. Too low EF isn't good but too high is also not good. In case you don't know what it is:

If your ejection fraction is higher than 75%, it could be a sign of a condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It causes the walls of your heart to beat harder. They become thick and stiff, and your heart doesn't take in or pump out as much blood as usual.

  1. Hi. I just want you to know that there are members of this community with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. And we also have contributors who also have this condition. And this has been written about here on this site, as you can see by this link here (https://heart-failure.net/search?s=hypertrophic%20cardiomyopathy). So, I think you have come to the right place.
