Palpatations

Hello. Have had pvcs my whole life, they started 5 weeks ago and have progressively gotten worse to the tune of 20 to 25000 a day, tonight as I sit here, it has changed, I'm taking my pulse and counting 8 to 10 pvcs in a row with no normal heart beat between, then 6 straight beats then back to 4 to 10 skipped beats in a row. Went to the emergency room 2 weeks ago the doctor said I was healthy as a horse with the exceptions of the pvcs, well giving what's going in now I find that hard to believe. What are your thoughts? Should I be on my way to the emergency room? Thanks

  1. Hi. Sorry for the late reply here, as I see you posted 20 hours ago. Based on what you described above, my own professional opinion would be to request that you talk to a doctor and get a doctor's opinion. We are generally concerned for your well being. I am wondering: what did you end up doing? Did you end up seeing a doctor? Are you doing better now? John. community moderator.

    1. Hi there! I wanted to add to John's comment from yesterday. I'm linking an article about managing PVCs. I hope that you have found some relief! -Lauren (Team member) https://heart-failure.net/living/managing-pvcs

      1. Hello. I agree with , if you speak to your doctors and they don't give you the answers or you feel uncomfortable with the answers they give you can seek a second opinion. I hope you are well. -Olivia

        1. Hi. I see it has been over a week since you posted here. I am wondering how you are doing today? Were you able to talk to a doctor about your palpitations and get this issue resolved? Wishing you all the best. John. community moderator.
