  1. Hi. Good morning. I see you are new to our community, having just joined up yesterday. Welcome to our community. Glad to see you are already participating here in the forums. Sorry that you are having to deal with clogged and diseased coronary arteries. Getting that proper diagnosis is the first step in getting treatment and relief from your symptoms. Sorry to hear that your symptoms are getting worse despite this treatment. It may be a good idea to get in touch with your physician about how you are feeling. Your doctor may have ideas to help you feel better. Or is this something you have done already? John. heart-failure.net community moderator.

    1. hi, I have had two follow up appointments and increased dose of isosorbide to relax arteries. I'm on BP meds, metformin for diabetes, and Crestor for cholesterol. I've lost 12 pounds, eating healthier. I'm only 58 and I feel scared.

    2. It’s normal to feel scared of the unknown with heart failure. To think of what can happen next or will I be able to get out of bed the next day is petrifying. I know because I’ve been in heart failure multiple times in my life and I’m 50. It’s great to hear that you’ve lost 12 pounds and are eating healthier. Thank you for sharing and I hope everything goes well for you in your upcoming appointments. Leslie (Community Moderator)

  2. BTW,Thank you for the nice welcome. I look forward to the insights I can gain from this forum.😊

  3. I was just diagnosed about a month ago and my angina is getting steadily worse. For a year or so I have walked 30 minutes nightly. Now there are nights I can't because the chest, neck, and jaw pain is too bad. The isosorbide doesn't seem to be helping. I read that isosorbide can actually increase angina for some people. Has anyone experienced this?
