Unexplained abnormal resting ECG

Over the last few years I have undergone several heart examinations, each of which was found to be an abnormal ECG being; ST elevation V2-V3 with deep negative T's V3-V4 and negative T's V5-V6 and inferior.

no one could give a cause or explanation hence my post here... for possibly getting more insights

  1. See a cardiologist. Really. ST elevation indicates prior heart event. My reading suggests negative T might not be bad, but don't quote me.

    1. HI. I see you are new to our community, having just joined 4 hours ago today. Glad to see you are already engaging in conversation here in the forums. I see you have already received a response from . And I would like to say that I agree with what he said 100%. I am curious if one of the people who viewed and talked to you about your past ECGs was a cardiologist? -- as a cardiologists are the experts when it comes to your heart. Is there anything further that you can share with the community regarding your situation? John. heart-failure.net community moderator.

      1. thanks for the reply.

I have seen several cardiologists (incl. professors). I've done ECG, echocardiograms, MRI and exercise tests.

The findings were, in addition to ST elevation and negative Ts, limited septal thickening up to 13 mm with on MRI 2 focal round spots of delayed enhancement in the anterospetum and also a zone midwall more distally in the septum.

        1. Thank you for the update. I hear you how frustrating it can be when your doctors are not clear as to what is going on. Of all the doctors you have seen, is there one doctor who knows you best and who might take the time to talk to you about what he or she thinks is going on with you? And, from there, a potential path (as far as treatment, etc. or perhaps just observation) moving forward??? Wishing you all the best. John. heart-failure.net community moderator.
