What does LV mass mean?
I return to my cardiologist tomorrow 7/26. My echo results are in, but some numbers concerned me. In layman's terms what does LV mass mean? I'm guessing my left ventricle? Is 296.5 g bad?
, Good luck with the upcoming appointment, I sometimes write my questions down beforehand to make sure that I do not forget and get derailed in the appointment. LV , would refer to the Left Ventricle. I do believe the LV mass is the weight of the Left ventricle. I would certainly suggest that you ask your doctor in your upcoming appointment to explain what the normal range is for you.
