My Story
When I was 48, no heart problems. I had nausea and vomiting through the night. My husband came home and took me to the ED. My o2 sat was 84. I was rushed in the ER. Then I said I had chest pain and suffered a cardiac arrest. They took me to the cTh ,ab. My ejection fraction was 20 percent. They put me on the impella device, and I had another cardiac arrest totaling 21 minutes. I was sedated with the device for 2 days. Now I have chf with ef of 40 percent.
