Are Broad-Spectrum Antibiotics Better for Multiple Symptoms?

I’ve been trying to understand the difference between regular antibiotics and broad-spectrum ones. Recently heard about options like Amoxyheal CV 375 mg that combine Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid.

From what I gather, these are used for different types of infections like sinus, ear, skin, and even urinary infections. Sounds convenient, but I’m not sure if they’re always the better choice compared to targeted antibiotics.

Do doctors usually prefer broad-spectrum antibiotics when symptoms are unclear or when multiple areas are affected? Or is it more about how severe the infection is?

Would be helpful if someone with experience or medical knowledge can explain when these combinations are actually recommended and whether they make a noticeable difference in recovery.
