I was diagnosed with AFib 3 weeks ago and CHF this past Friday. Anyone use or can recommend a home EKG monitor?

Hi. Good morning. I see you are new to our community, having just joined yesterday morning. Welcome to our heart failure community. I am glad to see that you are already participating here, in the forums. That is a great question! And one that I am also curious about. I. I have seen some patients come into my hospital to get an EKG (by me -- as that is one of my jobs) who tell me they became aware of changes to their EKG by an app that they purchased and used this as a prompt to call their doctors. A couple of these patients had watches that went along with apps. Although, I am also aware that there are other devices that can be used. I do hope that other members chime in here with what devices that they use. This also may be a good question to pose to your cardiologist. Perhaps he/she will have recommendations for you. What do you think? John. community moderator.

BP Doctor ECG5 has four heart rate monitoring modes: Watch wearing detection, chest stickers, ECG belt, and hand-held ECG. Although it cannot be compared with medical equipment, it is very convenient and can achieve 24-hour monitoring.

I don't even know what the brands have been. I prefer the one you send back in a mailer that's provided and lasts more than 48 hours.
