At 35 I was diagnosed with Heart Failure. I'm 64 now. I even had a LVAD. Been there done that as they say. I have come full circle with a Heart Transplant. I learned so much about myself & the heart, etc.. I'd love to share or just listen, if it would help YOU. Best Wishes!

  1. HI there, this community is a great place to discuss all things heart failure. How long have you had your new heart? How are you making out since your heart transplant? All the best, Lauren (team member)

    1. Thank you for sharing. I was actually diagnosed with heart failure at 35 myself, and I've always wondered about the long term projector for me. Doctors know my heart failure will worsen, but whether it will get to an LVAD or transplant they cannot say with certainty. Was it easier to process the heart transplant and LVAD being a heart failure patient? Since you are a transplant patient, I'd assume that you suffered a gradual decline. How as that to cope with? The last is the hardest for me to sit with, so I'd love to hear your experiences! Morgan (heart-failure.net Moderator)
