This is a community for anyone affected by heart failure. Let's get to know each other! Are you a caregiver? Have you been diagnosed with heart failure? What brings you to our community?

  1. thank you for inviting participants to do this. I am a community moderator with a special interest in supporting caregivers. I was caregiver to my own husband, Larry, until his death in March of 2019. I continue to learn about the realities of caregiving from so many in our HF community! I hope I can provide a compassionate listening presence and provide support to others along the way.

  2. I am a moderator and an advocate who was diagnosed with coronary artery disease in 2010 and had a heart attack in 2012. I've been a member of the community since it started. It's a wonderful community of support.

  3. I am a respiratory therapist who works with heart failure patients on a daily basis. I also have experience working in a cardiac unit where we took care of patients post cardiac surgery. I also have a family with a high risk for heart disease. I am a moderator and contributor for this site since the day it started. I really enjoy spending time here. It's a very nice community.John. community moderator

  4. Hi! I am an ICU nurse who works with heart failure patients regularly. I am a newer moderator on the site and have enjoyed being a part of this community and learning from those living with heart failure. The kindness this community shows one another is very special and touching.
