Discussing Treatments

The right treatment option depends on many factors, including your type of tachycardia. It is always best to follow the treatment plan recommended by your doctor.

With that said, how are you feeling about your current treatment plan?

  1. I had a heart attack last year. That brought on heart failure which improved shortly after and is considered normal at 60-65 EF. I have been on the Entresto/Jardiance/Metoprolol treatment. I now have stomach gastritis and kidney reduced function. And a low red blood count, just like someone else who posted. (No internal bleeding... I had an endoscopy. )
Why should I still stay on these meds when other parts of my body are being harmed and I don't think of myself as being in heart failure anymore.

    1. , thank you for the responses. Update: my Entresto dosage was reduced to the lowest dose of 24/26 mg. Kidney function much improved. I did have an H. Pylori infection and after the antibiotics treatment the gastritis and nausea went away. So I am back to eating normally and I should get over my anemia very soon.
Right now I am continuing my heart medications as prescribed.

    2. Thank you for updating us on how you are doing! I'm glad that you are back to eating normally and the medications seem to be working for you. All the best with your health! -Olivia
