I come to this heart failure community page because...

A couple of months ago we asked our community members on Facebook about why they come to our community page. Everyone joins us for a different reason. Whether you are newly diagnosed with heart failure or someone who has been navigating heart failure for some time, we want to hear from you. Ultimately, this community was created for people like YOU. Let us know below why you have joined us.

  1. Some of our community members shared the following:

"It’s helped me to realize I am not alone and most are experiencing the same issues, same gripes, same frustration.
Sometimes I want to scream and I know e1 else here wants to too.
Helps me cope and sometimes but also we can share side effects- all of it
I know I learn from others here"

"To see how many have the same experience as I do"

"I wanted to connect with people"

"Because I lost my mother in Nov 2018 to stage 4 heart failure. She had a successful valve repair only 3 months prior. Sadly it was just her time to go."

"My husband had quadruple bypass at 33, two stents and in Afib at 57 now he has congestive heart failure and ventricle fibrillation and is wearing a life vest until he can have a defibrillator put in. I want to learn all the can to understand everything going on with him. He has been in the hospital for two weeks because of low potassium and had cardio version and finally is out of Afib."

"Just want to know. If anybody has inquired about palliative care? And what their experience is if they did"

"It’s a great resource for us as we can connect and hear from others. We don’t have to feel alone"

"I wanted to join a family of Heart Failure warriors who communicate with us all their concerns and experiences. So happy I found this, I don’t feel so alone in my battle. We got this together ❤️🙏🏻❤️"

"I'm with friends that keep my spirits up, educate me, console me, and make me laugh ❤"

"I wanted support and encouragement from people who knew and understood what I was feeling and what I went through"

"To deal with folks who understand what I deal with and offer support to those who live with the same issue I do."

"I’m new to heart failure and need all the information I can get"

What would you add? What brings you to our community?

    1. I joined so that I can be in the know about heart health. I am a Lupus patient and one day I may have heart involvement. So, I want to learn as much as I can.
