Heart Failure Cardiologist

I was so disappointed when my Heart Failure Cardiologist left my area for a better position in a bigger city. Just a couple of months earlier, I had spent seven days in the hospital with V Tach, and I was still recovering when I received the letter about her departure. I never got to have another appointment with her, and I trusted her deeply with my heart care.

I had to find another Heart Failure Cardiologist, so I reviewed all the doctors’ backgrounds and found one who seemed similar, she even trained under my former cardiologist. It took months to get an appointment, but she did not disappoint. Still, I miss my previous doctor, whom I had been with for nearly ten years. Hopefully, this new cardiologist will be around for a while, and I’ll come to trust her advice just as much.

  1. Hi there, thanks for sharing your experience. Losing a beloved doctor to another city/practice is awful, especially when you have built up trust and a relationship. Best of luck to you with your new doctor, she seems promising! Lauren (Team member)
