I'd like to start a forum or online chat location for people with heart problems.

I've lived with heart problems for over 20 years. Most of the time it's been tolerable, but it's not without issue. Suffered two heart attacks, and now live with heart failure. I am sure there are many people who like myself would be interested in community support. Please let me know, and maybe we can set up something more coordinated. Possibly a destination for folks to converse online in real time. Best regards everyone. Howard.

  1. Hi , I see that you recently joined our community, Welcome! You have come to the right place because what you are describing is exactly what we do here at Heart-Failure.net! We are an online community for folks affected by heart failure where people can connect with others by submitting and answering forums and sharing their stories. We also have an amazing team of contributors who have been affected by heart failure who write articles about their experiences, on which you can comment and share your thoughts. You can also connect with us on Facebook or Instagram (links to our socials are below). Our community hub is a great place to see all recent activity (https://heart-failure.net/community). We're glad to have you here and hope you find the community support you are looking for! -Jessica, Team Member

    1. Thank you for sharing. From my experience, I usually strike a conversation with friends and family about my heart failure experience, and or then people ask about scars. One by one words get around and I share my experience to others. Then sometimes I receive a message in my online inbox asking for advice about heart problems. In the past 4 years post transplant, I have given advice to people in CHF, as well as, going through the transplant process. Leslie (Community Moderator)
