My potassium and calcium are elevated and my gfr is slightly down.
My Dr has had me stop my spironalactone for 2 weeks then will retest.
Has anyone dealt with this and did you have palpatations from it?
Thanks

Hi. Welcome to our community. Glad to see you are already engaging here, in the forums. I also look forward to hearing what others who have experienced this have to say. In the meantime, I do have something to add. Elevated potassium and calcium can be concerning. It's good that your doctor is closely monitoring and adjusting your medication. Some people do experience palpitations with these changes. I am curious: did you mention to your doctor about your palpitations? John. heart-failure.net community moderator.

Hi there, just checking in. How are you feeling? Have your palpitations subsided? It has been two weeks since your original post and I'm wondering if you have had a chance to have your labs drawn again. Please keep us in the loop. Wishing you all the best, Lauren (team member)
