Question for my fellow caregivers

What do you do to practice self-care? I have been struggling with this lately. My old hobbies have really started to bore me. I think mostly because I have been at home since early March of last year and I am looking for new ways to make time for myself.

  1. I've actually struggled with the concept of self-care for a long time because I felt that it was being selfish. However, I've learned that it is important to my overall well being. I've decided that one way to practice self-care is to push myself to do things that I wouldn't normally do in hopes of discovering some new passions.

    1. I understand this well. I personally like to write words of affirmation and read them out loud. A few ways:
      Practice gratitude
      Exercise
      Try relaxing activities
      Sometimes I have no where to go and I still get up and groom myself like I do, it makes me feel better
