Stress test
Had the nuclear stress test and of course I was concern with not only the results but the medicine they use to get the blood going through the heart. I went on line and read where some people having this medicine experienced bad reactions. I'm happy to said I had none with the exception of a very light sinus ache which did not last long. And I'm very happy to said i got my results and the report said "low risk and no blockage'. Of course it would be better if it said no risk but i will take the low knowing that the heart problems I'm having that's a pretty good report.

All the best, Lauren (team member) During a scan for another problem they found atheromatous disease of the thoracic aorta and coronary arteries. Also an aneurysm of the thorta artery and thickening of the heart muscle. So I'm far from being out of the woods. So since the scan found plaque I was surprized that there was not a blockage. It's just a wake up call for me to stop eating like a tennager and get off my fat butt.
I think we've all been there—moments when doctors or our bodies give us those unmistakable 'wake-up calls,' urging us to take better care of ourselves. And there's no better time than the present to take meaningful actions. I have my own such revelation recently, reminding me it's time to take better care of my body. As Lauren noted above, I too am glad to hear that your results turned out well. It sounds like your doctor is doing a good job of monitoring your heart health. This is great news. I'm so happy to hear that the stress test yielded great results except for the disease of the thoracic aorta and coronary arteries. What have your doctors said about this disease and what changes if any are they saying you have to make? -Olivia
