"Not a good day for me today. Lots and lots of back pain."

  1. Good morning. How are you feeling today? Any relief from the back pain? Wishing you all the best. John. community moderator.

  2. Gosh Back pain can be so hard to cope with. Is there anything specific that is causing the back pain?

  4. It's just not going away this week, and I don't know why. I mean there's a reason, they've tried to fix my back four times and then tried to fix what they messed up three more times and then said there's nothing more they can do.

I felt pretty good this morning, and then I went to PT like normal, came home, sat at the table for breakfast, and boom, it didn't want to work again when I tried to get up.

Hey, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger or so they say. You would think we would all be elite by now! Have a good day, everyone!

  5. I am so sorry. What do you do when it gets bad? Have you tried medical marijuana? My grandmother had serious back pain and honestly, it helped. I don't know if it's legal where you live but something to help you cope? Hugs! Morgan (heart-failure.net Moderator)

  6. Oh gosh it sounds like you have been through it. I am so sorry that you are struggling to heal from this and cope with the ramifications of the surgeries. How are you feeling today?

  7. Two reasons why I haven't. If I tried it here, then they wouldn't refill my opiates. Second, it's not legal here in Texas as far as I know. I am trying something new today. We'll see what happens.

  8. I'm trying Lryica along with all my other medications. So far it's working but it seems to be making me into a butthead. Jeanne says I'm having mood swings and I'm irritable. Hopefully, it will get better. I am feeling a little better and I walked without my walker for a while so there's that.

  9. I had to have a chuckle at this, thank you for sharing so candidly with us. It is one of my favorite things, calling things as they are. mood swings are hopefully can pass and you can resume your usual congenial self. I am delighted to hear that you are feeling a bit better. Also, walking without your walker. I am so glad for you. Hopefully, better days are on the horizon for you, and Jeanne. - Clair ( Team Member)
