What tips do you have for managing the fatigue that comes with heart failure?

I think it's important to rest when needed.

As a retired RN , I was rather dismayed to find myself with the diagnosis of HF. I still rise up eaarly, but fix my breakfast if my diabetes requires it then, go to my chair and relax while eating. Then my cat comes and rests with me, we may even doze abit. Secret is small tme management sections. Then when we are both aeake the trip back to kitchen and empty sink to Diahwasher etc, clean counters, take am meds and progress to bedroom, brush teeth. Then xollect any trash that needs to go outfor nx day pickup. Go to office and address computer messages etc. By now lunchtime. Then retreat to chair again with cat and usually watch 1 movie. Then get aqnything out for dinner and plan it. and cat's food. May read or go back to office and work some. Eat dinner and return to chair and watch game shows and the 1 hr of someting. Then at 9pm, back to bed. Easng thru the day really helps.

I do just about the same thing. Do a few things and then relax a bit.

Preparing extra when making dinner and meal prepping on 'good days'. I am frequently too tired to cook and it has made meal planning a lot easier and less stressful.

I love this!
Great idea...I often think about doing that and appreciate the reminder!
