My Heart Failure (HF) Journey

In January 2024, I was dealing with what I thought was a severe cold that I could not shake.

Initial heart failure symptoms

I went to my primary care with shortness of breath, fatigue, headaches, excess fluid and chest pain and he immediately sent me to the ER.

I was diagnosed with HF with 30% EF, weighing 285 lbs. I am currently at 55% and 210 lbs.

My life with heart failure today

I still have good and bad days, but I continue fighting taking my meds, eating better and exercising.

I am now 68 years old and feel blessed to still be here to fight.
