Pacemaker Offers a New Lease On Life
Here's a brief update on my treatment for heart failure.
Diagnosis and hospital stay
My original heart failure was on 7/10/2010. I spent 4 days in the hospital.
My last heart failure 1/29/2024, and I spent 3 days in the hospital.
The pulmonologist heard an S3 gallop sound
I went to a pulmonologist in October, and he found that I had an S3 gallop (a rare extra heart sound that occurs soon after the normal two "lub-dub" heart sounds).
A pacemaker has made the difference
Had an ICD/Pacemaker implant done 11/13/2024. I feel like I have a new lease on life. Wow.
