Going up stairs carrying things
DoreenHCommunity Admin
, We hear you. Going up the stairs can be challenging enough, but carrying anything can make it so much more difficult. For me, carrying small loads of wash/laundry can be the most troublesome. If you have anyone else at home, you may find it helpful to leave things (that need to go up) at the bottom of the stairs for the next person to take up.

, For some, slowing down is so important...yet a difficult adjustment. ~Doreen (Team Member)

Sometimes I wonder to myself if it’s my imagination. Because I’m thinking I can complete each chore like I used to before heart failure. My mind tells me “yes, you can do this !” But my body gets tired faster than it used to .

, Just wanted to jump in and add, "Don't be so hard on yourself." As Lauren mentioned, please give yourself some grace. ~Doreen (Team Member)
