Ineligible For A Transplant
I have known I've had congenital heart failure since 2018.
Am I a candidate for a transplant?
I got sent to a transplant doctor, and this year, on Aug 9th, they said I had to have a paracentesis.
Test results changed the course of my treatment
It was the scariest day of my life because I thought I was going on a 3-month treatment plan.
Nope, my cardiologist didn't like my stats, so I got admitted to the hospital, and, unfortunately, I will never be eligible for a heart transplant because of too many antibodies.
Life changes were necessary
I have made a lot of life changes since that day, but I thank God every night in my prayers, thanking him for another day.
