Bradycardia?

Hi, I have just come out of hospital and I'm still scratching my head wondering what happened. I have been feeling unwell for the last 6 months with dizziness and brain fog and I have actually collapsed with this . A few days ago I came home from work felling very unwell. When home I deterioted further. I had pains in my left arm, tightness of my chest, fuzzy head, confusion and shortness of breath. I feared I was having an heart attack so I phoned 111. I was quickly sent to A&E. They gave me an ECG and blood tests which ruled out an heart attack. They then tested for a blood clot which again was negative. I was observed on a monitor for 2 days and this showed I have a low heart rate which was dipping below 40 at rest. I was then sent home with no diagnosis and being told I would be referred to outpatients for further tests. I am now home recovering but I am still having chest pains albeit no near as bad as the other day. I have researched Bradycardia and it seems this could be what I have. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms and do you feel this could be my issue. Thanks for reading

  1. Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that you have had such an eventful few days? How are you feeling today? Have you had a chance to make an appointment with an outpatient cardiologist? I would think this would be your first step. I'm linking an article that discusses bradycardia. What Is Bradycardia? | Heart-Failure.net Best of luck, Lauren (team member)
